How do you delete files from the Backup
server?
In order to control how much data is stored on the online backup server,
your online backup software allows you to view all of the data stored on
the server and selectively remove files from the server. Instructions
for removing files from the backup server
are located in the
support section.
How frequently are backups performed?
Backups can be scheduled at a number of frequencies. The user has the
ability to select a backup schedule and can configure daily, weekly or
monthly backups. Backups can be set to run only on a manual basis if
preferred.
Are open files stored during the backup?
Open files are not stored during backup. It is important to exit out of
programs such as Outlook or Word before performing a backup. We do
provide an Open File Manager that will allow for backups of open files.
For more information on our Open File Manager please contact the
support department.
How do I restore my data? Data can be restored three different ways. 1) The backup
application allows for direct restoration of files. 2) The Remote Web
Access allow for remote recovery of files from a web browser interface.
3) Personal Recovery CD/DVDs are also available and can be shipped
overnight. For additional information, an overview of the
file restoration process is
available.
Can I restore previous versions of my files?
Yes! The default setting for retention of previous versions is 30 days.
You will be able to recover all version of stored files within that
